Role Summary:

As a large advertiser, we engage regularly with large media groups across vehicles in striking deals, partnerships, and short-term as well as long-term negotiations. This role, therefore, is critical as it involves ensuring value addition in the areas of media planning and buying for all our brands.

- You will be required to assist the Media Head in assessing, closing and monitoring all plans across TV, print, radio and digital media.

Role Specifications:

- Support the Media Head in conceptualising and evolving a media strategy by partnering with our brand teams

- Build, manage, track and evaluate media plans for the business

- Work around multimedia and integrated media solutions for brands, as well as business in close association with key media partners, agency and brand teams

- Negotiate with media agencies to strike cost-effective deals on media buying

- Work closely with media agency teams to ensure focus on media processes and successful implementation of all media plans across brands

- Provide critical inputs to enhance effectiveness of media and integrated communication plans

- Identify and create new multimedia synergies and opportunities to reach consumers more effectively

- Monitor regular MIS and drive initiatives for further improvements

- Conduct media audits with our media partners to ensure process improvement

- Develop and maintain benchmark media processes and improve on them

Qualification:

- Graduate/Postgraduate/MBA. Our focus is more on the right skillset rather than the degree/institute you graduated from.

- 6-9 years experience spanning media agency and client-level roles, with greater emphasis on a mix of agency and client combination

Skills:

- Media planning

- Experience in media buying, partnerships and negotiations

- Understanding of media operations

- Comfort in managing digital media is a must

- Exposure to media audits

- Ability to work across multimedia platforms, including digital

- Multimedia management across key networks/publishing houses

- Senior-level contacts across the media industry

- Excellent negotiation skills
