Manager - Mechanical Maintenance & Projects - Manufacturing Firm

Position: Manager-Mechanical Maintenance & Projects (Leading MNC Manufacturing Co)

Role:

- Add value to the business by applying best practice techniques for maintenance of mechanical equipments as well as erection and commissioning of machines at plant location

- Will work for Mechanical completion of brownfield expansion project and thereafter will lead the maintenance activities after successful commissioning

- Responsible for handling heavy engineering equipment like: Crushers, Ball Mills, Generators, Compressors, chiller, Pumps, screw conveyors, Burners, Rotapacker etc.

- Material Handling Equipment like: Belt Conveyor, Screw Conveyors and Elevators, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Equipment, Oil Burners (Heavy Oil)

- Handling pollution control equipment like: Pulse Jet Dust Collector, ESP etc

- Handling a team of 7-8 peoples consisting of Asst Manager / Engineers

- Responsible for report generation as per the group standards

- In-charge of manpower planning

- Responsible for maintenance planning

- Should understand TPM, Kaisen, etc. methodology

Requirements:

- BE (Mechanical Engineering)

- 15-20 years of post-qualification experience in handling mid-size CAPEX projects and mechanical maintenance of medium to large manufacturing facility.

- Candidates should have experience in working in process, chemical and mineral processing industries.

- Should be conversant with project planning, budgeting, techno commercial bid evaluation, vendor development, support to detailed engineering consultant

- Should be team player in resolving cross-functional complex project issues related to electrical and automation

- Should independently lead mechanical erection and construction supervision with high level of safety standard.

- Should be experienced in the field of both Mechanical maintenance and project for solid material handling

- Should have min 5yrs experience in project
