Position - Manager - Materials

Location - Pune

Qualification - B.E.(Mech.)/(Prod.) , M.B.A/PGDBM

Age - 32 - 40 Yrs

Experience - 10 – 15 Years of experience in Purchase Department of an Engineering Industry. Experience in HVAC industry will be preferred.

Job details

Planning and Procurement of following items

- C. I. / S.G.I. castings

- Machining of castings

- Machined parts

- Patterns/ tooling’s required for castings

- Refrigeration gases

- Refrigeration oils

- To strive hard towards achieving cost reduction targets.

- Effective control on inventory by way of timely planning, curtailing the lead times

- Developing alternate sources for better Quality, Cost & Delivery.

- Overall control on activities of other colleagues in the department

- Supplier training & development

- Ensure functioning of department in accordance with ORACLE system & ISO 9001 requirements.

- Encourage other colleagues in the department for implementation of 5S and Kaizen activities.

- Provide required MIS reports to the management on timely basis.
