One of the largest acrylic emulsions manufacturers in India with leading market position in pressure sensitive adhesives (PSA) and emerging position in coating emulsions. Diverse product lines - Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA), Coating Emulsions, Construction Chemicals, Textile Printing Binders, Carpet Back Coating & many Specialty Products.
1. Purpose of the Role
- Develop the Textile coating product business line as a strong diversification.
- Tap new markets and achieve sales targets as per KRAs
- Candidate should be strong in B2B marketing, build customers by meeting textile mills, channel partners, distributors and dealers within India and then move on to exports. The candidate should open doors for Textile Coating business.
2. Primary Responsibilities (what are the main objectives of the role):
- Focus on market development of Company Products for the Textiles Sector
- Acquire sufficient technical knowledge regarding these Company Products, their application and target industries
- Study and analyze the national market and nearby overseas markets for these products in terms of demand, pricing etc.
- Understand in-depth customer requirements and work closely with the Tech Centre Team to develop product specs which meet these requirements.
- Evaluate market competition, analyze competitor's offerings, pricing strategies etc.
- Evolve a JIL strategy to foray into new product lines and markets
- Leverage past experience and existing networks to further the business interests.
- Proactively identify new, related products having potential for high profitability margins and volumes
- Leverage the capabilities of the Tech Centre and aggressively follow-up with the R&D Team to obtain desired results
- Provide market inputs and product quality feedback to both the Tech Centre and Top Management.
- Coordinate manufacturing issues and deliveries with factories.
- Exercise caution on commercial terms and follow the established credit control policy in conduct of business.
- Be responsible for payments and C Form collections
The ideal candidate should:
- Be an expert from the industry
- Strong B2B marketing
- Build customers by meeting textile mills, channel partners, distributors and dealers within India and then move on to exports.
- Needs to be more P&L Head than Business Head
