Our client, a biofuel company based out in Bangalore is looking for flexible and versatile marketeers who will be responsible for managing product channels, share improvement - in specialty agricultural products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Overall activities including formulating sales plan, executing the sales plan and building an effective field team. This would include direct sales, marketing and technical service across India.
- Builds a highly effective cross functional business that is aligned horizontally, which will enable gain of customer access.
- Maintains close partnerships with senior stake holders. Ability to translate those partnerships into the influence needed to lead and operate at a high degree of effectiveness.
- Build business for the company including sales tracking, inventory control, business rules (product liquidation, receivables) and provides the highest level of visibility on operating and financial performance.
- Looking after major customers and travelling across India
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 4-8 years of experience managing sales in specialty agricultural products.
- MBA needed with background in Agriculture or related science (preferred)
- A consistent performer and high achiever all through the career.
- Strong Sales and Marketing skills to increase revenue and profitability by proactively gathering information and insisting on results and surpassing the target achievement.
- Strong Analytical Skills to communicate product concepts in understandable way to multiple levels.
- Strong business management and leadership skills.
- Besides local language multi lingual ability is an added advantage.
