Marketing Manager - Disruptive Pharma Retail Startup
- Our client is the fastest-growing retail chain of generic medications. The startup was founded with the objective of providing essential medicines at affordable pricing to consumers. Using a proprietary technology platform and well organized retail operations plan the startup was able to open 45 stores within 2 years of its launching in 2017.
- These stores have impacted the lives of more than 3.5 lakhs customers with chronic disease and minimal resources to obtain branded drugs. The disruptive idea of bringing generic drugs to the forefront got backing from several VCs and angel investors. They are looking forward to soon launch stores pan India and increase the store count from 45 to100 within the next year.
- The startup is founded by IIT-Bombay alumni batch mates who are also serial entrepreneurs. The founders have not restricted the startup to only selling products but are helping the consumers with services like consumer counseling, health awareness camps, and subscription solution.
- As a Marketing Manager, you will be Building marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
What you will do :
- Marketing through various channels and segment databases working with large data sets
- Developing business cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics
- Evaluating the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow, LTV and retention
- Proposing and managing marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications
- Partnering with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
- Leading the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes
- Working with the other marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
Candidate Profile :
What you need to have :
- Experience building complex marketing programs and reporting on the results
- Exposure to digital and direct response marketing
- Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages
- Strong project management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Someone with 2+ years of experience in marketing, has a Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business or similar, and is familiar with the following software/tools :
- Marketo
- Hubspot
- Salesforce
Annual CTC: Rupees 8,00,000 to 14,00,000
