Designation : Marketing Manager - Office Business and Channels
Reports to : Head Marketing
Job Purpose :
- Drive the Product Marketing function for Office Products (A3 and A4) to grow and retain customer base by developing and deploying medium and long term strategies.
- Drive a compelling value proposition to enable acquisition, motivation and retention of channel partners.
Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare product and strategy development plans, which clearly establish product positioning versus competitive products, product pricing guidelines and profitability.
- Identify, define, select and prioritize market opportunities. Develop strategies for new market penetration.
- Develop market knowledge to understand trends and opportunities.
- Prepare strategic marketing plans. Introduction of new and up-dated products to the sales organisation.
- Launch schemes to retain and add new customers.
- Generate and maintain analysis of the market with a focus on market trends, size, Competitive solutions positioning, bench-marking, market share and customer needs.
- Initiatives to grow gross profit & gross margin for the given product line.
- Map the Market and competition to identify opportunity areas, geographies and niche segments.
- Provide field support for training and enablement.
- Analyse markets as per latest trends & suggesting inputs for new product launches & product enhancement.
- Launch New products as per India plan (Build a launch communication plan for launching the new products and track performance).
- Inventory Planning and Management - Meet Supply & Demand with accurate forecasting.
- Liaison with service to optimize offerings with timely updates on competition activities and appropriate counter measures.
- Track Key accounts, bulk deals and Govt. RC's / tender enquiries.
- Initiate and manage communication and promotion campaigns (Product collaterals, product literature, trade-shows, PR in magazines, internal / external newsletter, sales actions etc.) with Marketing communication function.
- Drive Channel Loyalty programmes and platform for channel satisfaction, motivation and retention.
- Drive the Channel Program.
Experience :
- At least 10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing.
- Should have sound knowledge of industry (office equipment) with min 5 years in the Office Business.
- Should have hands on experience in Product Marketing with minimum 5 years in product marketing.
- Experience in handling Channels is preferable.
