Marketing Manager Role - Consumer Durable Industry
Key Deliverables :
Channel Strategy :
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the overall business objectives and target specific channels.
Promotions & Campaigns :
- Plan and implement promotional activities, campaigns, and incentives to motivate Retailers and influencers to sell more of the company and products. Set goals for promotions, monitor progress and re-align spends based on effectiveness of various programs.
Brand Visibility :
- Work on increasing the visibility of the brand at the point of sale, ensuring that products are well-displayed and attractively presented to customers.
Market Analysis :
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand the dynamics of the trade, identify opportunities and challenges, and stay informed about competitors and activities to provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain a centralized repository of market intelligence data.
Pricing & Trade Spend Schemes Analysis :
- Gathering of competitive market data with active liaising with the sales team. Implementation of pricing and trade spend actions across different geographies.
Collaborate & Sales Team :
- Collaborate closely with the sales teams to understand their needs and challenges and develop marketing strategies that support the sales objectives.
Data Analysis :
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, gather insights, and make data-driven decisions for future strategies. Develop and maintain MIS to provide real-time insights into sales performance, sales force efficiency, and other key metrics.
- Generate regular dashboards and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Communication Skills :
- Effectively communicate marketing strategies, objectives, and expectations to internal teams and external partners.
