Basic Purpose and Function:
Product line management & gap analysis –
- Develop marketing plans for existing productlines considering its present stage in PLC
- Understand the global product line of Gates and identify the missing links in company offering
New Product Launches –
- To conduct feasibility study for the new products by gathering information from Business Managers, end users and distributors and develop the target cost and selling price
Branding –
- Plan and budget for effective Brand Building – ensure implementation through various agencies & vendors in targeted media/forums, fabrication and execution of sales-support requirements of field.
Marketing Communication –
- Prepare customised presentations for industry segments and specific customers to support the FMs and organise / co-ordinate seminars / meets, workshops, training programs and participation in Expos.
Customer Satisfaction Survey & Improvement –
- Assist in identifying and mapping key customer facing processes and improving the Customer Satisfaction Index / Key Metrics as per corporate objectives.
Position Dimensions (Scope) (e.g. reporting structure, personnel responsibility, decision-making authority, budget responsibility)
This is a strategic position reporting to sales and marketing head and needs great ability of working closely with him to develop product line, pricing and marketing communication strategy for the business. The position requires person to be a team leader while having strong ability to delivery on strategic thinking. Person would be required to have high energy level with ability to organise and plan keeping in view of growth plans

Internal:
1) Within Sales and Marketing Department, FTS for data & inputs, F&A for budget/purchases and related issues.
External:
1) Other Gates entities
2) Channel partners
3) End-users
4) Advertising agencies, printing/designing houses, fabricators/vendors for gifts & display material, various media organizations as well as confederations & Govt. agencies.
Other: This position may be based in Gurgaon and will be required to travel to meet with stakeholders
Skills: Ability to understand competitive positioning, strategic thinker, strong analytical as well as planning & organizing skills
Technical : Strong marketing & branding skills, knowledge of industrial products & channels, as well as customer behaviours
Behavioural: Effective communication skills, team player, ability to influence without authority, proactive approach and high energy levels.
