Marketing Manager
Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities:
1. Create a strategic vision and marketing plans for the portfolio, based on strong consumer/ customer and painter insights and market understanding, to meet the growth and market share objectives as well as build sustainable competitive advantage for the business.
2. Operationalise the marketing plans to win key battles across market, customer & painter segments
3. Formulate the innovation strategy for the portfolio & ensure creation of a robust innovation pipeline
4. Develop, track and ensure sharing of KPI's for business performance in these areas
5. Work closely with RDI, regional & global teams
Functional Responsibilities/Network :
Customers (End Consumers/Contractors), Sales Team, RD&I Team, Marketing Team Peers, Regional Marketing and Innovation teams
Job Context (the Nature & Scope of the Business)
The WMT & Mass Market portfolio contributes to ~40% of the top-line and ~30% of the contribution margin for the business across categories. This portfolio consists of large brands such as Dulux Promise, Dulux Gloss ,Sadolin which are most critical to growth of Company India. These brands & categories are crucial to drive our growth & profitability agenda and therefore an essential part of our strategy in delivery of next 3 year's agenda.

3. Marketing Strategy and Planning: Determines where to focus resources over the medium and long term to drive growth and achieve business goals
4. Brand Activation: Develops and delivers integrated marketing initiatives which bring the brand idea to life and engage customers to change behaviour and drive brand and category growth
Functional Competencies :
- Strong fundamentals in Marketing theory and Practice - Positioning, Brand Management and Marketing Mix development
- Good interpersonal and influencing skills
Other skills :
- 10+ years of professional experience of which at least 3 years has to be in portfolios which involve influencing the influencers, relevant experience in B2C marketing and an ability to independently lead the innovation agenda and has strong commercial acumen
Post-graduation in Marketing from a good B- School
