Our client, founded in 1982, has established itself as a huge food products conglomerate, leading the food processing business through its range of products, innovative flavours and fillings, it's internationally certified production facilities, the consistency of its quality, and its unmatched expertise in the industry. It has always stood for unparalleled quality, great taste and world class innovative products, customized for local taste buds.

The company has joined hands with Mc Donald's to become one of their biggest suppliers in India. They have a diversified client base across sectors including retail, institutional and QSR clients. They also have an international presence with products exported to Europe, Africa, Middle East, US and Australia.

Recently it raised $15 million from the investment advisors for India Agri Business Fund II (IABF-II) which will be used to expand its distribution network to 120,000 outlets in three years from 40,000 at present, making the firm a Pan-India company.

As a Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include the following :

Develop overall strategy & insightful brand plans for the entire portfolio focus segments, products, geographies with clear data driven choices, and drive execution with a sense of urgency.

Gain consumer insights through market research

Develop organizational and financial resource plan for portfolio (including allocation)

Develop and monitor complete brand re-launch strategy

Review performance of marketing strategy and its execution and make corrections wherever required

Effectively interact with advertisement/ media agencies, consumers and internal stake holders to develop robust marketing plans

Monitor A & P spends for the brand on a periodic basis

Lead the complete media strategy on New Product development and work closely with the product/ sales team on pricing, marketing allocation amongst dealers, influencers and consumers

Responsible for designing and successful launch of ATL and BTL campaigns

Completely responsible for managing BTL activities at the dealer levels pan India; coming up with promotions, discounts, dealer incentives, etc. by working closely with the Sales team

Put in place overall marketing related processes and systems

Achievement of pre-determined product shares, product mix and product profitability of the existing brands through parameters of market share, growth, profitability.

Market mapping to arrive at the actual potential and continuously evaluating the performance of various brands, (territory-wise, product-wise)

Monitoring competitor's activities, data analysis and presentation

Supporting the sales team through ventures, ideas, promotions, journals etc.

Responsible for guiding and motivating departmental people in day-to- day functioning & grievance handling.

Candidate Profile:

Strong track record of brand management. Should have earlier managed a brand/s which has gained in market share

Experience: 8-10 years in ATL & BTL campaigns

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes

Should have had experience of New Product Launches from scratch

Strong record of being competitive & demonstrated growth in market shares within the regions managed

Strong inter-personal skills and people skills.

Strategic and Analytical thinking- Understands and considers market, customer, regulatory and competitive issues when solving problems and making decisions; gathers and evaluates information as a framework for examining issues, effectively utilizes market research findings.

Ability to develop strategies based on a deep understanding of the business environment, market needs and global trends and effectively deploys strategy into strategic initiatives and actions, while managing risks effectively.

Ability to plan and execute effectively, leveraging all possible resources.

Effectively balance goal achievement with process rigor.

Effectively interacting with advertisement/ media agencies, consumers and internal stake holders.

Interpersonal skills, communication & negotiation skills
