- The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the daily activities of the marketing team based in India,
- Providing the team with the structure and direction they need to ensure they can effectively deliver to the business goals moving forwards.
- The role holder will ensure that the customer and marketing strategy, which supports the overarching business priorities, is embedded within the team and brought to life through the team's activities.
- The role will oversee the planning and management of the team's workload to ensure that the team is supported to meet deadlines and the outputs are delivered on time and to the expected quality.
- The marketing functions that will be supported by this role include web development, search marketing, customer insight experience and digital analytics.
Lead the marketing function by providing visibility to the team of the wider business agenda and demonstrating marketing's role in supporting and delivering on that requirement.
- Work with stakeholders (internal and external) to establish marketing as a center of excellence that can effectively demonstrate the value it gives back to the business.
- Ensure adequate controls and processes are established to drive efficiency into the marketing function. Developing robust working practices that support greater alignment to the requirements of the team in the UK.
- Customer - embed customer at the heart of the team, ensure that the team is always considering the impact of business actions upon the customer and subsequently acting as their voice within the company.
- Analytics - establish a performance-based culture, building a deep understanding of the performance of all marketing activities to enable optimization of plans and drive efficiencies back into the plan.
- Digital - support the digital marketing manager (UK) in the effective delivery of the 2017 digital roadmap, build a strong understanding of team requirements and proactively support them in addressing key issues / becoming best in class.
- Assist in the strategic planning of the business by supporting and leading on initiatives that consistently place the customer at the forefront.
- Line manage and coach all reports (in conjunction with UK managers), including all aspects of performance management, development, conduct, sickness management, appraisals, employee administration, and recruitment.
