Role Summary :

A mid senior strategic role, which leads on all marketing and student recruitment activity for the University and its constituent Schools.

The post-holder will establish clear direction for marketing and oversee the delivery of marketing Campaigns required to achieve University/ Schools/ Programs application and enrolment objectives.

He/ She would be responsible for mapping end- to end student journey from enquiry to enrolment by strategizing and implementing an integrated marketing and communication approach.

The success of this role will be judged by the University's ability to recruit quality students in line with set targets, covering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.

Main Responsibilities :

Lead the development and delivery of a marketing and recruitment strategy for each school, campus and programs by ensuring all activity is in line with the broader University brand and recruitment strategies.

Lead on the creation of an annual marketing vision and communications plan for each School, with clear deliverables and KPIs.

Work in close liaison with senior colleagues across marketing department to ensure the school benefits from impactful, strategy-led activities across Campaigns, Outreach, PR and Events.

Establish an intelligence-led approach to all planning and delivery, utilizing market research and data analysis to ensure strategies and tactics are in line with the business needs of the School, and strategic ambitions of the University.

Be a champion Performance marketer

Utilize intelligence and market insights to support the strategic development of the Colleges' portfolios.

Write and present reports, written and verbal, to the University/ College Senior Management Team as required on marketing and recruitment activities and results.

Play a full, active and strategic role and report on marketing activity, market research findings, attraction and conversion activities, and to advice on appropriate tactical changes as necessary.

Manage the sourcing of relevant market intelligence to inform planning, working with colleagues and external agencies as required

Manage the Schools marketing budget, ensuring spend is appropriately planned and monitored.

Lead the School marketing portfolio through embedding a culture of continuous improvement, which encourages team members to question the norms, try new things and be innovative and creative in their approach.

Take the lead with School's academic and support leaders and colleagues to ensure they play a proactive and impactful role in supporting student recruitment and other business objectives.

Be a proactive member of the University-wide Marketing & Communications Leadership Team, sharing knowledge, best practice and experience with colleagues to further build and improve broader marketing activity.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS :

QUALIFICATIONS :

Full -time MBA from a recognized University with specialization in marketing with digital marketing subject level exposure / certification.

EXPERIENCE :

- 5-10 years of experience and demonstrable success in a marketing manager level role, (preferably in a complex / matrix organization).

- Proven ability to develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing program that achieves results

- Experience of creating departmental / school level marketing strategies and operational plans to support specific business objectives and targets

- Experience of planning within defined resources and delivering to this plan successfully

- Experience of supporting the creation of publications

- Experience of digital marketing including website development, performance marketing and social media activities.

- Experience of providing marketing leadership and advice to non-marketing colleagues

- Excellent creative skills including copywriting and an innovative approach to marketing campaigns.

- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

- Proven ability to utilize Salesforce.com as a sales analysis tool or any other CRM

- Team player with positive "Can-do" attitude

- Great communication skills with enthusiastic personality

- Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook

- Strong problem solving skills, data and software applications
