Manager Market Insights and Analytics
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate an ability to influence multiple stakeholders to ensure a high-level of team involvement in key business discussions to forge strong partnership and alignment.
- Support evolution of strategic analytics, forecasting and market insights capability among regional and franchise teams.
- Ensure integration of key trends, insights and analytical methods / tools, techniques and process into existing and new knowledge assets.
- Support education and dissemination of existing knowledge estate, assets and market information for key platform cross-functional partners.
- Partner with external partners and SI&P Platform and Regional Leads to create and maintain best-in-class analytical and marketplace assessment practices.
- Lead preparation of summaries of insights, analysis and share results with internal customers.
- Support Market Models initiative with methodology and logic development along with internal and external collaboration with vendors and partners.
- Support augmentation / improvement of assets, documentation / reference material in partnership with the Data and Analytics team as applicable.
- Lead the design transfer and support the standup of market model assets to the Data & Analytics team.
Support SI&P team :- Providing subject matter expertise / guidance on use of data / qualitative assets.
- Meeting the needs for new areas and enhancements to the asset base.
- Proactively providing fact-based and analytical insights to address business needs.
- Develop and help implement innovative insights and business analytics tools, techniques and processes to further enhance assets.
Qualifications :- A minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field. MBA or MS is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in secondary market research, forecasting, strategic insights, market research, business analytics, strategic forecasting, finance or a related field is required.
- Experience in the medical device, hospital specialty, or healthcare field is preferred, but not required.
- Proven track record of performance that demonstrates both strong personal and team leadership.
- Excellent proven personal leadership, collaboration, communication and analytical skills are required.
- Ability to support cross-functional teams (with strong influencing skills) is required.
- Ability to understand, translate and integrate marketplace data and secondary data tools into actionable insights to drive decision-making is required.
- Working knowledge of and experience with secondary market research, primary market research, and forecasting is required.
- Some knowledge of competitive intelligence data is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in creative problem solving and team partnership is required.
- Ability to begin to synthesize disparate data sources to provide an integrated insight view of the business is preferred.
- Due to the nature of the information reviewed in the role, candidate must demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and discretion is required.
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills are required.
- Strong project management skills in a deadline-oriented environment are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, & Tableau are required.
- Prior experience using analytical tools (Python, R, Alteryx, or SAS) are preferred
