- An Opportunity to Lead Market Development for Bioinformatics in India at a National Level
- Reporting directly to the Managing director of the firm, this person will be closely involved in all key decisions related to the Bioinformatics portfolio
- You will be responsible for tracking budget achievement, tracking business opportunities, creating new opportunities, identifying and understanding market trends, monitoring CRM system compliance, and driving all initiatives ensuring excellent execution by the Commercial Operations team towards high growth & Develop, strategize & plan an entire model working grounds up if necessary to scale up operations towards growth, customer delight, market development to sustain & consistently grow business
- You must effectively work with Sales and Application team primarily in coordination with Marketing and all other support functions for maximum revenue generation. This position also requires experience in working with customers at all levels including scientists, researchers, Lab Managers, Directors of organizations and institutes and Purchasing/Procurement heads
- Developing & Implementation of Company strategy through specific market development plans in coordination primarily with sales, Application and Marketing teams and also using the support functions
- Meet and exceed all sales and market development targets through strategizing and implementing growth plans which are market and customer oriented
- Responsible for the development/agreement of market development plans for the Bioinformatics portfolio. This should support reaching budgets and achieving revenue targets
- Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities. Increase number of strategic partnerships with customers at all levels and in all market segments
- The position would be expected to develop and grow with appropriate branding growth strategies that would generate new opportunities, encash on existing opportunities and reach the revenue targets
- Undergraduate in Science with Management Degree from a reputed institute would be an added advantage
- At least 10 years of successful sales experience with a proven track record in Molecular/Life Science Industry with atleast 5+ years of Leadership or Management experience
- Should have a strong and established network of customers/influencers/scientists
- Should have strong analytical, problem solving & customer management skills
- Excellent listening, presentation and communication skills at all business levels
