Manufacturing Manager - Diagnostic
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the management of all processes related to the manufacture of medical devices within agreed budgets and timescales.
2. Assist in the smooth and efficient running of the various medical devices manufacturing departments and related support activities including stores, product dispensing and labelling, packing and Despatch, instrument assembly and related stock control operations.
3. Ensuring Management Review Meetings is conducted in a systematic manner and actions identified during the review are implemented.
4. In the absence of the Senior Supervisor and Global Manager monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and

4. In the absence of the Senior Supervisor and Global Manager monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales for each area.
5. Liaise with other functional / departmental managers so as to understand and meet all necessary objectives and targets.
6. Ensure operational activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
7. The establishment and maintenance of detailed ISO procedures within the department including a regular review and up-date of ISO procedures
8. The raising, action and completion of PCAs, NCPs and Concession Reports and CAPAs
9. Contract review.
10. Ensure that all team members are working safely in accordance to company Health & Safety procedures and are maintaining a safe working environment.

ESSENTIAL:
1) Educated to degree level.
2) Relevant experience in a manufacturing role
3) Managerial experience.
4) Proven leadership skills and a high level of self-motivation.
DESIRABLE:
1) Working knowledge of lean manufacturing.
2) Experience of quality assurance systems
3) Working knowledge of health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
4) Experience in the diagnostic sector ( IVD) Manufacturing
5) Experience in Manufacturing of IVD System Packs
6) Knowledge of ISO 13485/2016
