Manager - Manufacturing Consulting

Experience: 8 years - 11 years

Education requirement: B.Tech. in instrumentation engineering / Automotive engineering / Production Engineering

Responsibilities:

- Business Process mapping / engineering for core functions across different industry sectors.

- Identify specific use cases / opportunities for implementation of AI / Automation / Analytics / IIoT across the manufacturing value chain.

- Identify use cases specific to RFP requirements for Analytics in the manufacturing sector.

- Help with end-to-end solutioning by liaising with other practices

- Consult with the technical teams to define process documents and relevant technology requirements

- Keep abreast with the latest trends in Manufacturing, Analytics, IR4.0 and proactively recommend the same to existing clients with a strong focus on value

- Relationship management with client sponsors.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Mandatory:

- Experience of working in production floors for organizations with revenue exceeding 500 CR (mandatory) for at least 4 years.

Experience in any of the two areas (at least) as below:

(i) Operations / Production Planning

(ii) Preventive / Scheduled Maintenance for the plant

(iii) Process Reengineering / Production Process Design

(iv) Quality Assurance / Quality Management

Working proficiency in concepts like LEAN / Six-Sigma

Demonstrated proficiency in Root Cause Analysis / troubleshooting. Candidates with hands on experience in solving production related problems will be given preference.

Good To Have:

- Exposure to SCADA systems, historians, HMIs, control systems / panels in context of manufacturing industry

- Exposure to Digital technologies (like IIoT, Cloud, Analytics) in manufacturing.

- Exposure to Business Process Measurement tools (like PEGA, Visio)

- Exposure to ERP systems like SAP / Oracle in context of manufacturing
