Description: The role is a Maintenance Manager role based out of our client's manufacturing unit in Chennai for their textiles business. The role reports into the Head of Plant Maintenance
Client Details :
Our client is a Indian MNC with a global manufacturing and sales footprint across businesses. It is a publicly listed company with dominant presence in various categories.
Job Description :
- Responsible for handling the overall maintenance for all textile equipment including and not limited to spinners, twisters (TFO), looms
- Prepare, plan and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules
- Reduce downtime with efficient and effective collaboration with the Production/Operations team
- Review the adherence to the ISO: 9002, EMS 14001 and OHSAS related standards and modify significant risks
- Budget preparation for annual R&M for all spindles and yarns.
Profile :
- Graduate/PG in Textiles Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a maintenance role with a textile organisation - technical textiles but people from natural fibres background can also be considered
- Hands on experience of working on loom maintenance, spinner maintenance, Twister (TFO) maintenance
- Basic knowledge of Tamil is preferable but not mandatory
- Good team handling and presentation skills
