Manager - Logistics - Packaging Industry

In this role, you will be interacting majorly with internal & external customers. This is a very high demanding role with clear expectation of scalability. You are expected to be highly proactive and capable of taking decisions in an ambiguous environment. The role demands you to be analytical in your approaches & decisions. Key responsibilities:

- Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with partners (sellers), customers & transporters.

- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.

- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs

- Ensure - packaged to - dispatched (P2D) TAT within 12Hrs

- Ensure average  dispatch to  delivered (D2D) TAT within 3 days.

- 100% adherence to POD (Proof of delivery) upload in system

- Negotiate rates and contracts with transporters.

- Ensure transporter compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities

- Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.

Requirements:

- MBA - 8 to 10 years of Logistics experience, of which 4 years should include team management.Excellent leadership skills with structured thinking and complex problem-solving ability. Fast learning, networking and researching skills, high energy levels, ability to meet defined targets.

- A really ambitious and driven individual who does not like the words - no-  cannot be done

- Proficient in Exel & Powerpoint
