Everest Fleet is Uber's largest professionally managed fleet supplier in India, with a fleet of 15000+ cars, operating in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad and Kolkata. It was founded by a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist and seasoned angel investor Siddharth Ladsariya in October 2016.

As we are one of the most professionally managed fleets of the country, Uber India has entered into a strategic partnership with us. After having successfully built a business in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi, the latest expansion was in Hyderabad. Our goals are to reach 15000 cars by the end of 2023.

With an aim to generate 1 lakh jobs and create an ecosystem benefiting the entire value chain - drivers, aggregators, investors & employees, Everest Fleet envisions becoming the preferred operating partner in the industry over the next 5 years

Current team size is of 1550 people and 10000+ drivers. We are currently building a core team which will be responsible for the organisation's growth.

We have forayed into Refrigerated Vans and want to grow this business vertical.

Job Description:

- Manage the first mile operations and ensure the pickup from warehouse is being done in a timely and effective manner.

- Organize, store and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations.

- Manage the timely data collection to update overall metrics on daily basis, in an inventory control and systems environment, to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost, eliminate errors in dispatch and thus deliver excellent customer service.

- Lead on numerous improvement and process excellence projects aimed at streamlining picking up activities.

- Managing Drivers and Vehicles: Allocation, shift management. Practically ensuring a driver is provided with a car and vice versa.

- Responsibility for driver attrition by conceptualizing and executing various schemes for the drivers

- Creating Incentives and pay-out structures

- Creating and Implementing Training modules for all drivers

- Addressing driver grievances and handling all escalations from the core team responsible for driver engagements.

- Initiating motivating programs for drivers

- Chasing weekly and monthly targets per vehicle and ensuring the targets are achieved

- MIS reports and analysis monthly

- Team Handling

- Sourcing and recruitment of drivers.

- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.

- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

- Good multitasking and analytical skills.
