Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire Logistics for Attibelle location

Customer Order Management:

- Receive orders from Distribution Centers (DCs) and provide on-time delivery commitments.

- Provide revised delivery commitments for late orders.

- Dispatch Finished Goods (FG) to DCs, optimizing deliveries and delivery costs.

- Liaise with DCs and Direct Customers regarding order issues, customer priorities, forecasts, and delivery schedules.

- Liaise with Forwarders for Imports and Exports, as well as Customs House Agents (CHA).

Key Elements of the Role:

Coordination with Transporters:

- Interact with transporters/vendors regularly, providing feedback for continual improvement.

- Receive and verify transporter bills for payment clearance.

Handling Casual Workers and Training:

- Improve productivity of casual workers in material movement, packing, and dispatching.

- Effectively allocate work and manage dispatches with the team.

- Conduct training on material handling systems for existing and new workers.

Customer Handling:

- Communicate promptly with customers regarding dispatch details.

- Anticipate and address delays proactively, informing customers in advance.

- Act as a single point of contact for customers and DCs, addressing their inputs and issues promptly.

FG Dispatch:

- Ensure movement of FG to appropriate locations and update SAP system data accordingly.

- Generate delivery details, ensure packing as per order specifications, and generate invoices and shipping documents.

Qualifications:

- Basic ERP knowledge, preferably in SAP.

- Proficiency in English and local language.

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Production, preferably with a PG Diploma in Logistics Management/Materials Management.

- Background in Logistics Management with experience in Manufacturing units.

- Experience in freight forwarding, monitoring imports and exports, CHA operations, and customs clearance.
