MANAGER – Logistics Formulations

REPORTING – AGM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Operationally responsible for all the regions.

2. Responsible directly for EM region in all matters, vendor finalization, region requirements – Africa, S. America, GCC, CIS , Fareast sectors and also sectors which gets categorized under EM location.

3. Responsible from shipment readiness for delivery of the product as per in-coterms.

4. Needs to be tough negotiator in regard to vendor pricing and transport pricing.

5. Prompt planning of the dispatches

6. Need to have the thorough knowledge of L/C regulations.

7. Good communication skills.

8. Should have pharma background for execution of the products, to handle temp and non temp products as per product stability.

9. Timely escalation at the time of crucialities

10.Follow hierarchy and protocol.

11. Need to have freight forwarding knowledge in regard to Exim, Excise, clearance scope, forwarding scope and destination regulations as per country norms.

12. Any irregularities & claims to be taken up for the region wise, interacting with APL claim division and vendor.

13. Monitoring the post shipment docs weekly region wise and updating the heads

14. Evaluating monthly wise the irregularities arised in the region with the heads.

15. Freight calculation for airfreight and sea freight as per the internal customers requirement.

16. Overall responsibility and guiding the team where ever required.

17. Responsible for taking care of any reverse logistics (Rejections) for all regions.

18. Responsible for Exim profile for all regions, to obtain 2nd set of documents from service providers and submission to Exim department by thoroughly checking the same to claim export benefits.

19. Checking of Shipping bills to be in line with Exim requirements (Such as Draw Back, Advance Licenses, FMS, MLFPS, FPS).

20. Responsible for Excise related docs. (Such as submission of proof of exports, tracking, MIS, interacting with all units on any errors etc…)

21. Need to have good rapport with internal and external customers.
