Job Purpose :
- Effective planning & managing the Primary Logistics
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for making FG available at 60 + depots as per plan and schedule to achieve weekly sales target
- Co-ordinating with Business Heads for weekly indents and Plant team for Stock positions in order to prepare production plan
- Weekly despatch plan of 9 manufacturing locations, based on the production plan, sales indent & stock, as per most effective sourcing matrix and communicate the same to plant team
- Co-ordinate with business heads for understanding stock priorities and stock liquidation.
- Taking decisions for judicious allocation and availability of stocks as per requirement
- Responsible for effective vehicle planning in co-ordination with plant logistics
Inventory Management:
- Ensure real time visibility of stocks across value chain. Required to meet the
- fast paced demand changes in the sales requirement.
- Daily review of FG and maintaining plant & depot inventory as per desired norms to ensure neither stock out situation nor excess inventory across value chain
- Ensuring zero expiry of FG
- Analysis of stock ageing and co-ordinate with business heads for early liquidation of near expiry stocks
Cost Reduction:
- Working on cost reduction opportunities to bring down the logistics cost
- MIS - Monthly Logistics MIS (TTAT, Loading optimisation, OTIF, transit damages, vehicle detention) with CAPA is prepared, analysed and ensured seamless service levels
Process and SOP control:
- Conduct Regular Checks on process adherence & surprise audits
- Responsible for process related improvements
- In Depth Knowledge of Well versed in SAP & various MS Excel tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively co-ordinate with large group of internal and external stake holders
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Having keen analytical & Problem Solving skills
Goal Orientation:
- System and Process oriented
- Ability to handle timelines
- High level of integrity and honesty
Qualification:
- Any Graduate or MBA in SCM / Operations
- Candidate should be from FMCG / Manufacturing
Work experience:
- Candidate from FMCG/F&B / or any other Industry where large volumes are being handled
Experience - Minimum 8 to 10 Years, preferably, with both corporate and plant experience
PREFERRED AGE : 35-40 years
