Manager - Logistics - Domestic & International - Internet/Online

Position : Logistics Manager (Domestic & International)

Location : Mumbai

Job Description :

- Experience in many facets of transportation with Air/Sea/Road/Rail modes. (All mandatory, Facets of transportation include but not limited to:

a) day to day operations

b) commercials

c) tracking

d) TAT adherence

e) handling all types & models of transportation in respective modes

f) handled large volumes & number of transporters etc.

- Good knowledge of domestic & international documentation required for all modes of transportation include but not limited to:

a) customs regulations

b) domestic tax formalities for transportation

c) Insurance etc.

- Good knowledge about of transporters(part load, FTL), shipping agencies, clearing houses, etc. get quotations & collate them to choose economic LSP case to case basis.

- Manage LSP's SLA's and ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving issues/concerns on time bound basis.

- Reconciling invoices & timely releasing of payments to LSP's.

- Candidate must have experience in handling 3PL service providers in warehousing. Should have handled large number of SKU's, for storage, packaging, distribution etc.

- Candidate with E-commerce, B2B, and Start-up experience is preferred. Must be Self-motivated, team player and have cross functioning experience

- Candidate should have strong communication skills and proficiency in MS-Excel is mandatory. Preference will be given to those who have worked in SAP/ORACLE.

- Candidate must be willing to travel as per business need frequently.
