Manager - Logistics & Distribution - Manufacturing

We are looking for a Manager-Logistics & Distribution for a manufacturing set up

Location : Hyderabad

Job Responsibilities:

- The Planning and implementation of an effective and efficient Logistics and Distribution system for India, which includes the development and monitoring of L & D department budgets and the hiring and training of L & D personnel.

- Develop and maintain a distribution system that utilises sales demand information, Product quality/quantity information and logistics networks to ensure the accurate and timely supply of product to the customer.

- Manage all product Warehouse operations in India - cold and warm. Ensure that product is stored in an environment that maximises shelf life and sales appearance.

- Responsible for the negotiation of Service Supply Contracts with freight and warehouse storage companies. Follow-up with these service providers on any concerns and ensure that their services are not a constraint to company's goal of timely and accurate supply of high quality product to the customer.
