Manager - Legal - Renewable Energy Firm

JD for the Manager - Legal role.

The position will be based out of Mumbai & Delhi will report to Legal Head.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and render legal support to all departments, subsidiaries and investors of client.

- Assist in greenfield projects for renewable energy (wind and solar) including advising on land aggregation agreement, title deeds, review of land diligence, park development contracts, EPC contracts, supply contracts (Modules and WTGs), O&M Contracts, power purchase agreements etc.

- Assist in M&A transaction, financing and fund raise deals, assist in handling claims, disputes & litigations & other day to day contracts like NDAs, consultancy contracts, terms sheets etc.

- Assist in other corporate matters and compliances including company policy trainings, oversees other legal and regulatory compliances

- Knowledge of Contract laws, Corporate Commercial Laws, labour laws, electricity laws, FEMA, etc. and monitor changes/amendment in the applicable laws and their implications on the Company and protect the company against legal risks and violations. Knowledge of various laws/regulations/rules applicable to renewable/ infrastructure/ power industry

- Skilful in drafting & negotiating contracts, excellent oral and written communication skills in English the ability to communicate legal issues and solutions in an articulate, precise and effective manner

- Strong organizational and inter-personal skills, team spirit and demonstrated ability to work independently and with teams across functions.

- Analytical Ability: Breaks down complex issues into simpler parts, Makes decisions taking into consideration cost and benefit with clear priorities.

- 4 to 10 years PQE with Renewable Energy companies
