Job Description :
- Negotiating, drafting and vetting of documents such as Agreements To Sell, Leave & License Agreement, Documents related to Mortgage - Hypothecation - Pledge, Power Of Attorney, Affidavit, and drafting replies to Legal Notices and Ensuring that the legal documents and other contractual documents are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted and vetted.
- Apply structured problem solving skills in either roles to create value for the organization
- Conversant with all Real Estate Laws, Rent Act, Stamp Act, Registration Act, Land Revenue Act, Transfer of Property Act, Consumer Protection Act, Companies Act, BMC regulations and ULC etc
- Advising on minimal liability and legal exposure for the business.
- Hands on experience in managing external and internal legal resources as required.
- Assisting business in compliance with all various legal requirements
- Adept in Supervising, researching and analyzing implication of case law, legislation and regulatory matters that affect the company and reporting the same to the Management.
- Advising and ensuring that the business is in compliance with the relevant legislation
- A keen planner, strategist & implementer with demonstrated abilities in conducting negotiations in various legal matters and assessing contentious and controversial issues.
- Supervised and attended Court Cases pending in High Court and District Court(s), Briefing and conferencing with External Counsel(s) in the matters of the Company.
- Liaison with Public Authorities and Departments as required..
- Handling Litigation/non Litigation matters provide resolution and Liaison with solicitors / external advocates.
- Provide legal protection and risk management advice.
- Contract Negotiations (review all the contracts or other documentation where the company has committed itself and assess legal implication that needs to be brought about).
- Stay abreast with all legal rules and regulations of the state government, central government, local government or other related institutions and associations on urban development and pertaining to real estate.
- Knowledge of Company Law is a plus.
- Assist various internal customers in ensuring that all contracts and agreements are vetted and interface with external customers and business partners on issues of legal interpretation and dispute.

- Candidates with 5+ years of experience of working in a Developer firm, Handling the legal matters.
- Prior Experience in Real Estate Industry.
