Manager - Legal - LLB - Wholesale Banking

Job Description :

To provide legal advice in connection all aspects of bank's functioning including corporate finance, project finance, working capital finance, trade finance, treasury, debt restructuring, agri/priority sector lending/asset reconstruction, private equity, depository and other related business initiatives of the Bank

- Drafting and review of loan, security and related transaction documents;

- Undertake research and study of legal problems arising in connection with the financing transaction, advice on the financing and regulatory implications of the transaction;

- Provide the legal framework for financing operations (drafting, advisory support, conclusion of contracts and completion of all related legal formalities) and monitor them from a legal viewpoint;

- Structuring advice, drafting transaction documents and providing legal opinion in relation to securitization and other structured finance transactions;

- Handling Treasury Transaction which includes drafting and negotiation of ISDA Master Agreement and its Schedules, and providing legal advice pertaining to treasury matters.

- Strategy and advice for litigation for and against the bank, its employees and directors

- Liaise with counter parties, clients, regulators, external counsels etc.

Key Skills and Experience Required :

- LLB from top reputed law college in India;

- Preference would be given to candidates having minimum 3-5 years litigation background.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience of having worked in public / private sector banks Legal Departments (core legal function), or in law firms handling corporate finance /project finance/banking matters etc.
