YOUR ROLE SUMMARY :
In this role, you will be responsible for handling contracts, business advisory, compliance and legal knowledge management. You may also be given an opportunity to participate in transactional work of mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures etc.
YOUR ROLE SPECIFICATIONS :
- Drafting different contracts such as procurement contracts, outsourcing contracts, property related contracts including conveyance and leave & license, distributor contracts and contracts with services providers.
- Advising business on labour issues, marketing schemes, declaration on various packages, consumer grievances, cheque dishonours and subsequent follow-through legal actions.
- Ensuring organizational compliance of the laws and good governance practices, including anti-bribery and adherence/educational campaigns on competition law practices.
- Managing & documenting important legal developments like judicial pronouncements and new law/regulation and communicating the same to all businesses/ stakeholders.
- Need based involvement in litigation, M&A transactions, indirect taxes related issues.
QUALIFICATION :
- Educational Qualification : LLB
- Around 7 years hands-on experience in handling corporate, general legal advisory, litigation and compliance management.
- Applicants with experience in manufacturing/ industrial sector would be ideal for this role
SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Contract drafting skills with high degree of precision and understanding of related complex legal issues
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of diligence - in creation of documents/legal contracts as well as in ensuring high quality of inputs at all stages of execution.
- Willingness to continuously engage the internal teams with knowledge sessions and sharing updates on processes and procedures/ new findings
- Comfortable with short-notice travel
