Manager Legal
Job Requirement:
- Managing corporate transactions, documentation and regulatory matters; work includes managing legal due diligence processes, financing documents, drafting and reviewing notices, commercial contracts etc.
- Advisory and assistance to various business line / departments of the Company on legal issues and transactions which include acquisition, financing and hotel operations.
- Reviewing of all transactions from SEBI compliances perspective and ensuring relevant filings.
- Assistance in implementation of ESG and data privacy related compliances.
- Monitoring ongoing litigations and coordinating with external counsels and attending whenever required.
- Assist in review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures including assisting in aspects of commercial negotiations.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining repository for existing legal contracts and documents including assistance in executions.
- Assistance in internal and external audits.
- Risk Management.
- Advisory to various business line / departments of the Company on legal issues.
- Assist the General Counsel various legal advisory work as may be assigned.
Candidate Requirement:- 5+ years of experience, preferably with a reputed law firm or a listed company
- Good grasp on the corporate laws including FEMA regulations, listed company compliances transactions, regulatory and litigation related to real estate or hotel industry and/or ancillary domains like banking finance, investment transactions etc.
- Excellent command over language and good oral/written communication skills.
- Sound grasp of basic legal knowledge and concepts.
- Skilled at interpreting Legislation/Statutes/Regulations under various Legislations.
- Well aware of basic formats of legal documentation or legal write-up.
- Well conversant with basic IT tools and software (MS Office).
- Aptitude for smart work with hard work with ability to interact with business leaders and domain experts.
- Good research skills.
- Adaptable and willingness to learn and seek guidance to resolve business situations / circumstances.
