Designation- Manager - Legal
Responsibilities and skills:
i. To impart training/ awareness on various matters viz. Prevention of sexual harassment, labour law compliances, contractual compliances, compliances with product declaration laws, data protection & IT laws compliances etc.
ii. Candidate should have robust understanding of general compliance framework, risk and governance.
iii. First-hand experience of handling statutory compliances for factories, branches and head offices.
iv. detailed understanding of consumer business, engineering business and various legal requirements for the business.
v. Broad perspective of general governance/ ethic for various business operations.
vi. Candidate should supervise and drive global compliance for various countries in which WEL operates.
vii. Strong legal knowledge of industry practises, new laws, regulatory developments etc.
viii. Traveling to various locations within India and other countries on need basis.
Prior experience- Prior experience in a corporate of significant size or with a law firm/ service provider of 'specifically handling legal compliance function'.
Qualification: LLB/ LLM
