- Objective of the role is to advise / Manage operational and business issues relating to legal metrology, employment and labour issues, consumer complaints/ contracts, IPR/Trademarks etc.
- Handling claims w.r.t intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
- Handling Foods Safety cases (FSSA Compliances) that come across units.
- Coordinate with various departments towards while actioning the cases.
- suggest the future courses of actions in-case of pending cases
- Take care of legal issues for CMU, Distributor, C&FA as players in the supply chain may also be held accountable in the larger interest.
- Represent the firm in the court of law in co-ordination with the identified local advocates.
- Ability to draft & negotiate the contracts
- Assessing Risks and Minimizing the risk w.r.t all contracts : Celebrity contracts, trademark contracts, C&FA agreements, CMU contracts
- Ensure necessary due diligence for obtaining FSSA approvals
- Represent and defend the organization at Consumer Forums: Consumer cases, liaise with advocates , various departments for the cases.
- Identify associated potential risks while rolling out schemes / ATL activities by various department
- Prepare replies for Legal Metrology departments.
- Ensuring organisational compliance with laws and governance practices.
- Should have knowledge of commercial, civil, property, consumer and labour laws
Other requirement:
- LLB
- FMCG background
- 12-15 yrs exp
- Excellent drafting skills
- Commercial acumen
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills,
Grade 6/7 - Sr. Mngr or Dy Chief Manager
