Manager - Legal Entity Control/Financial Control - Engineering Services Firm

- Operate a continuously effective financial controls framework to ensure the integrity of the entities financial statements and providing timely, accurate and meaningful management reporting and support to budget holders

- Identify and implement solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of accounts payable and inter-company transactional accounting processes

- They are into designing, building, operations and maintaining of oil and gas facilities, with a reputation for commitment, delivery and operational excellence

Description :

- Perform the relevant monthly transactional accounting processes, mainly accounts payable, property, planned & equipment, intangible assets and inter-company invoicing (sender/receiver) in a first-time right manner

- Identify and implement solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency of accounts payable and inter-company transactional accounting processes

- Monitor the financial statement risks associated the Corporate entities and respond by ensuring the appropriate financial controls are designed, implemented and operated effectively to provide reasonable assurance on the integrity of the financial statements

- Perform procedures to ensure that purchase orders are coded correctly e.g. legal entity, account line item, budget code etc. and that costs in general are coded to the correct account line items

- Identify ESSA (eliminate, standardise, simplify and automate) opportunities and communicate to relevant stakeholders, particularly the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, sub-optimal process elements in transactional accounting processes associated with Corporate entities

- Improving data management and report automation through close collaboration with the Group Finance Systems Manager and the Information Technology (IT) function

Profile

- Skill in Oracle R12 and/or Oracle Fusion, Oracle FCCS and Oracle EPM and Skill with Hyperion Financial Management

- Awareness of Power BI

- Skill in reporting writing and analytical skill

- Ability to work effectively with all areas of the business and to communicate with non-finance colleagues and build effective relationships

- Ability to critically analyse current work methods and suggest and rapidly implement successful change
