Manager - Legal & Compliance - BFSI - LLB

Responsibilities:

Regulatory:

- Drafting of documents/applications required for different licenses such as Payment Aggregator (PA), Account Aggregator (AA) etc. Working on resolving pending licenses with the regulatory department.

- Closely monitor regulatory landscape for developments, provide insights on these and their impact on company strategy to internal stakeholders, support with drafting and communications with external stakeholders.

- Drafting and vetting of different legal documents and notices as and when required by the company.

Secretarial:

- Ensuring compliance with Companies Act, 2013, RBI Compliances, and Secretarial Standards i.e., managing Annual Reports, Agenda, Notices, Resolution and Minutes of the Board, General Meetings, CSR meetings and various committees of the Board and handling all preparatory work and co-ordinate in organizing the meetings.

- Filing of necessary forms with Registrar of Companies and other regulators (i.e., RBI etc.).

- Managing and drafting internal and other required policies for the company such as privacy policy, risk management policy, grievance redressal policy, etc.

- Assistance in Due Diligence

- Ensuring Corporate Governance and Risk Management

Requirements :

- Must be an LLB and ACS/ FCS with at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Fintech, Startups, Services Sector IT, or ITES. Experience in technology company will be advantageous.

- Experience in Indian laws and regulations concerning one or more of banking, NBFCs, digital payments, financial services, fintech businesses, payment aggregation, account aggregation, intellectual property, and technology, etc. is preferred
