LMS Manager
Objective
Owner of LMS, being responsible for the overall process from data entry to financial reporting. The LMS Manager prepares the monthly IFRS reporting and other ad hoc reporting as required; ensuring monthly and quarterly reporting is delivered in an accurate, complete, and compliant with IFRS 16 and timely manner.
Duties and responsibilities of the job
- As an owner of this process, he/she will work together with the LMS Administrator to ensure data has been accurately, completely and timely been inputted into the LMS for every month end. In order to achieve these objectives, the LMS Manager will be required to carry out certain high-level routine processes and controls and manage the relationship with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare all necessary IFRS 16 monthly and quarterly reporting, including ad hoc reports requested by relevant departments.
- Look for opportunities to improve the process
- Develop / coach one direct reporting
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in finance
- 2 to 4 years- experience as owner of a relevant finance process in a medium / large organization with direct reports under his/her supervision.
- Relevant experience applying accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with various computer programs such as MS Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills-building strong relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Demonstrated strong project management abilities to ensure LMS is always up to date. This also involves working under tight monthly reporting deadlines
- Experience with IFRS 16 is desirable but not restrictive, as the LMS Manager will receive specific training on this area.
