Manager - Lease Accounting

Description:

- Ensure monthly financial close activities are completed on a timely basis.

- Financial analysis/ reviews to assure integrity and quality of financial information and ensure that Fixed Assets accounting and operations are complied with the Accounting and Finance Manual and SOX Controls.

- Lead various enterprise wide and process related improvement projects.

- Advise and provide solutions to improve the current systems and process.

- Hands on person who can handle work pressures, and lead by example.

- Take a long-term view and think about business issues in the broader context.

- Understand priorities and adopt a customer centric approach within the overall team charter.

- Coordinating with cross functions and cross-countries.

- Facilitate strong relationship with business partners especially Business Finance team through effective communication and regular interaction.

- Team player, drive engagement initiatives within the team

- Enable and provide guidance, direction and support to team members to help them develop themselves and meet their goals.

- Build strong relationship with business partners especially Business Finance team through effective communication and regular interaction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree majoring in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration OR Professional accountancy qualification such as CPA, CA.

- 7-8 years work experience (preferably from an MNC environment and/or international accounting firm previously).

- Good supervisory skills and MS Office and Powerpoint skills.

- Exposure to Oracle or SAP will be added advantage to the applicant.

- Good communication skills (both written & spoken English) and collaborative skills.

- Must be able to work effectively with cross functional team at different geographical locations.

- Operational Excellence mindset and capability to develop and deliver on best in class benchmarks

Must to have - Exposure to leasing business model along with ERP experience preferably in SAP.
