Manager - Lean

Position Title: Manager - Lean

Reporting to: Country Lean &; Division Lean and Quality Manager

Location: Chennai

Position Summary:

Responsible for championing and leading Lean initiatives at the Plant level by utilizing the company;s WIN Strategy. Organizes associates in value stream mapping and continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste in all office, factory and support functions. Measures and reports progress on an ongoing basis using theLean Journey Assessment, financial performance measures and Lean Report Card measures. Transfers the ownership of lean principles to facility leadership.

Qualifications: Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related discipline

- 8 plus years' experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum 5+ years in Lean & Continuous improvement role

- Certification in Lean Six Sigma will be preferred.

- Good knowledge on Kaizen, Automation, and tools development

- Demonstrated leadership, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

- Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

- Internal audits, IATF, SPC, TPM, 5S

- Certified in Lean Six Sigma Green belt

- Preferably worked in Japanese companies (for TPM knowledge)
