Position: Manager - Lead Retail Advisory

Job Summary:

An experienced manager with 6-7 years of consulting or industry experience in Retail Sector with total work experience of 10-12 years

Location: Doha, Qatar

Job Description :

As a Manager, it is expected from you that you develop capabilities to deliver work in the retail advisory such as retail business feasibility, business plans & strategies for international and local retail operations, develop channel strategy, market entry strategy, market and competitor analysis, brand development strategy, customer insights, portfolio optimization, business model validation, drafting retail manuals etc.

You will also be expected to develop new products in retail that suits the market requirements, develop marketing collateral with help of internal marketing team, support in writing thought leadership article, and generate market awareness of retail advisory services

You will also undertake all manager level responsibilities that would include :

- Ensuring great service quality of deliverables

- Understand client issues and develop retail business offerings

- Evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations for the client.

- Effectively manage the team

- Ensure great client relationships

- Ensure exceptional performance

Educational Qualifications :

- MBA (from a renowned university / college) Or CFA / CA / CPA

Experience :

- 6-7 years of experience in retail consulting or a mix of working in retail sector with retail consulting experience

- Being member of any reputed retail network would be an added advantage

Other Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

- Proven leadership skills, with capability to lead project teams with multiple direct reports

- Excellent in financial modeling, possess good understanding of the finance concepts

- Experience dealing with large, complex retail developments and organizations

- Experience with analytics to evaluate and optimize business processes

- Strong problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Strong presentation skills

- Willingness to travel ~ although we do not estimate significant travelling, however the candidate should be open for the same
