JOB DESCRIPTION:

Skills/Experience Required:

- Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on analytics experience solving complex business problems using data

- PhD or Master's degree from reputed university in statistics, economics or any other quantitative fields

- Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent. Indepth knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is a must

- Proven leadership track record in dynamic/changing banking environments and matrix structure

- Ability to nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally

- Strong project management skills

- Exceptionally strong organizational, problem-solving & inter-personal skills. Ability to communicate clearly across various levels

- An Entrepreneurial spirit/drive to execute quickly with the simultaneous ability to navigate through organizational complexities

- Knowledge of forecasting and statistical modelling techniques, market research and multivariate analysis tools (e.g., factor and cluster analysis, conjoint analysis etc.) is a plus

Strong programming skills and sound theoretical knowledge of R, Python, SAS, SQL or other equivalent analytical tools is required

- Strong understanding of business domain, functional goals, and the required technical expertise across multiple regions. Makes decisions, even with ambiguous /incomplete data at a pace that balances the need for further analysis and the need for timely decision given business priorities / requirements

- Support to develop a consulting culture within team, partner with functional business leaders in developing analytical strategies / decision making to achieve higher value

- Translate key analytical solutions as generic and re-deployable across regions / markets. Drive redeployment of the solutions

- Provide actionable analytical solutions for unstructured business problems. Communicates across all levels and with senior executives

- Support innovative analytical thinking & solutions that result into improved business performance

- Strong execution with a view to run an agile process for digital analytics - generating hypothesis, creating test cases, measuring and reporting on lift / impact

- Work on digital tools and data like Adobe Analysis, DCM, Adobe Ad-hoc analysis, generating actionable insights for the business.

- Driving paid media strategies by identifying business priorities, required data sources, utilizing advanced analytical techniques to uncover opportunities

- Running experiments/stress tests via robust process for A/B testing and on/off techniques to arrive at actionable outcomes/insights.

- Applying problem solving principles to arrive at high impact levers and tactics for paid media channel performance optimization

- Rapidly prototyping new tools/techniques and keeping self and team updated of project changes, able to anticipate customer needs, and support non-BAU projects / ad-hoc analysis as relevant, ensuring key takeaways are clearly articulated.

- Role requires collaborative working with colleagues in the Analytical functions within the regions, the Digital Centres of Excellence, and the Global Digital Analytics leadership.

- Strong stakeholder management across teams and regions on deliverables, reports and output

- Ability to present complex information in simple manner through effective communication and representation

- Operate as a part of a global team that can work across time zones and with markets in various states of digital development. Strong focus on quick wins and iterative refinements.

- Keeping a strong focus on digital channels at the same time as working towards an integrated approach to the omni channel customer experience

- Adapt rapidly to a changing internal environment as the organization challenges itself to become a leader instead of a follower in this analytical specialism

- The incumbent of this role is expected to surmise the business priority and enable the effective delivery of projects and analysis. Depending on the project team size, there could be some project management-related challenges which the incumbent would need to proactively address and resolve.
