- The role holder will have specific responsibility towards Asia Pacific markets. Typical activities vary from the development of customer segmentation & targeting to product offering and tracking and evaluation of customer-centric marketing programs to predictive analytics to select optimum customer cohort to drive any strategy. The work would primarily involve the use of customer data and the application of statistical tools and techniques to achieve following:
- Developing inferences and insights around customer behaviour and suggest revenue opportunities
- Leverage machine learning techniques to develop predictive models that help improve marketing strategies across the customer lifecycle from acquisition to attrition management including customer contact management strategies
- Monitor portfolio profitability & other key performance indicators in order to recommend strategies that align with business objectives for profitable growth
- Build hypotheses around customer behaviour and profitable growth scenarios and apply the right mix of qualitative and quantitative research techniques to identify causes and solutions
- Lead the development of analytical solutions using traditional or machine learning approach as necessary that aid business decision making around product pricing, targeting and other customer life cycle management strategies with a clear impact on customer engagement and business profitability
- Structure concise reports with data driven insights supported by solid analytics and logical thinking. Lead presentations and make recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Support global / Regional initiatives partnering with cross functional teams across multiple markets which requires excellent communication skills as well as flexibility in conversing with multiple stakeholders on a regular basis
- Experience of modern analysis methods and machine learning kits such as (but not limited to) Random Forest, Markov Chain analysis, Gradient boosting, Pathway analysis, Collaborative Filtering etc
- Strong understanding of asset portfolio business drivers in order to pro forma financial analysis would be preferable
- Proficiency in SAS, R/Python Programming languages and MS Office tools like Excel & PowerPoint is preferred.
