Position: Manager - Human Resource Leader

Location: Hyderabad / Nagpur

Industry: Tyre 1 MNC, Automotive manufacturing

Department: Manufacturing Process

Experience: 5 - 10 years in any OEM / Tyre1 Automotive manufacturing preferred.

Position Summary:


The HR Leader acts as a strategic business partner, aligning HR initiatives with overall business goals. This role focuses on organisational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, and fostering a positive work culture. The HR Leader collaborates with the Division HR Manager and leadership teams in Multi location to drive business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

- Promote equal opportunity hiring.

- Participate in recruitment, including screening and interviewing candidates.

- Advise on staffing plans and prepare salary offers.

- Facilitate onboarding and induction of new hires.

Talent Management & L&D:

- Partner with leadership on talent reviews and succession planning.

- Implement talent development initiatives and ensure retention of key performers.

- Define and track training objectives, assess training effectiveness, and coach managers on performance improvement.

Compensation Planning & MI Support:

- Assist in the salary review process and provide analysis on compensation distribution.

- Make recommendations to the Division HR Manager and Total Rewards team.

Employee Relations:

- Support policy interpretation, resolve conflicts, and provide guidance on people management issues.

- Assist in investigations of unethical practices as necessary.

Data Management:

- Ensure timely, accurate HRIS updates and participate in audits as needed.

Engagement & Employee Empowerment:

- Implement High-Performance Teams (HPT) and conduct engagement surveys to enhance productivity and morale.

- Support Business Resource Groups and employee empowerment activities.

Employee Wellbeing Initiatives:

- Provide clarity on benefits and support health, wellness, and safety committees.

Education & Experience:

- 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Master's degree in HR, Psychology, Business/Management, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong business acumen with knowledge of HR practices (Safety, Total Rewards, Talent & Performance Management).

- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Innovative mindset with a commitment to Lean Enterprise and POP principles.
