Designation: Manager - IT Procurement

Band: 4

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle procurement of Application Development, Bandwidth, Telecom, IT Services, IT Hardware, Software etc.

- Responsible for selection of suppliers, who can provide goods/services in accordance with the needs of the internal customers, negotiate rates, set up contracts and manage supplier relationships.

- Adapt a new skill sets of contract negotiation / closure and phasing out of the role as transaction processors

- Negotiates complex contractual "Terms and Conditions" (including cost analysis, legal clauses, and performance requirements) with selected service providers, to ensure that the Business Unit receives the most cost effective, high quality customer service available.

- Strategic IT Sourcing implementation

- Techno commercial evaluation/assessment of proposals related to technology products/services.

- Responsible for execution of IT procurement initiatives

- Perform Ongoing relationship management

- Effectively collaborate with and manage stakeholders

- Set up meetings with appropriate functional heads and lead the discussions

- Achieve given business targets on SLAs, Cost reduction and key control indicators.

- Master at prioritization (applying the 80/20 rule)

- E-Sourcing expertise (Knowledge of new negotiation technics like subscription based, calculation of cloud commercials , negotiations basis the sourcing levers at category of spend )

Primary Interactions:

1) External - Vendors Nature of interaction includes- Supplier selection, negotiations, evaluation and supplier relationships.

2) Internal - Internal customers from Max Life . Measure of Success :

Essential qualifications and experience:

Qualification - must have

- Graduate

- Master's Degree in Management ( Preferred)

Experience :

- 5 to 8 years in a procurement position in an MNC/Service /Banking industry in Procurement.

- Experience of handling procurement operations independently

- Mandatory experience of driving project management, synergy initiatives, supplier selection, negotiations, purchase order management, contracts negotiation, supplier management, E-Sourcing (Ariba),
