Manager- Investments - Front Office - CA/CFA/IIM/MDI/ISB/FMS

Key Responsibilities:

Excellent understanding of IRDA regulations with respect to Investments, financial markets and range of investment strategies.

Facilitate effective and efficient Asset Liability Management in collaboration with Actuarial team.

Executing investment deals while ensuring optimization of Investment yield and safety of funds.

Tracking Fixed income/ Equity market on a regular basis, RBI monetary policy statements and market sentiments to be able to understand better investment decisions.

Leverage relationship with various stakeholders viz. Primary dealers, banks, brokers, AMC- s/ mutual funds and counterparties to facilitate effectiveness and efficiency in Fixed income trades/ deals.

Monitoring of daily cash inflows/ outflows to maintain optimum balance between liquidity and Invested levels and to meet all the payout commitments.

Yield curve and Duration analysis.

Review & Implementation of Investment policy.

Tracking updates from IRDA and re-align investments accordingly, if required.

Regular review and monitoring of portfolio - rebalance the portfolio in line with the yield curve and spread movement

Develop insights on new asset class, that can be considered as an Investment option

Share Capital management and reporting to RBI

Understanding of IRDAI Investment Compliance requirements

Key Performance Indicators:

Provide regular updates to Board Investment Committee and senior management on Investment position, strategy and fund performance.

Perform credit & peer review.

Timely and accurate reporting of management reports for investment committee.

Adherence to IRDA guidelines/ regulations, investment policy and SOP's with respect to Investments at all times.

Track economic measures like GDP, IIP growth CPI, WPI etc understand the impact of such data on yield curve movements

Internal : MBHI employees External : brokers, intermediaries, banks

Preferred Skill Set:

Well versed with Fixed income concepts like duration analysis, VAR analysis

Understanding of operations in Investment markets

Proficiency of working on Investment Management System (Credence/ M-Fund)

Proficiency on working in MS - Office (High on Excel, Word & Power Point)

High on analytical skill and quick learner

Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.

Positive and - Can Do- attitude

Qualification:

CA/CFA and/or MBA with a specialization in Finance from a premier institute
