Job Desription:

- One of our large Chemical Manufacturing client is looking for Head Stores Position for their Plant near Asansol.

- Minimum 20 years of experience in managing Inventory/Stores in Chemical / Petrochemicals & allied industries.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Operations Management or B.Tech Degree with minimum 15 years of relevant experience.

Technical Role Objective:


- Lead a team to receive and record new stocks as they are delivered or shipped out by analyzing different suppliers, recording daily deliveries, and evaluating new shipments.

- The job role also includes managing and coordinating the procurement process for all necessary supplies, equipment, and services required by the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Managing and collaborating with the team of 'Store' employees to meet business goals.

- Managing inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.

- Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.

- Analyzing existing data to anticipate future requirements and forecasting future inventory needs and future inventory requirement trends.

- Monitoring demand and analyzing data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.

- Placing orders to replenish stock by avoiding surplus and preventing stock out.

- Evaluating suppliers to achieve low-cost deals while maintaining relationships.

- Preparing inventory for on-time delivery to customer departments.

- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.

- Managing schedules of employees, deliveries, and shipments to optimize operations.

- Proposing strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.

- Providing reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management.
