Global Trade Manager-Big 4

- Global Trade Manager Investigations will investigate and disclose violations of global trade laws and regulations, and violations of internal global trade policies and procedures. This individual will also support other areas of Global Trade including various export and import functional areas. The Senior Manager will serve as a liaison and provide GT guidance to others within the enterprise and must possess the ability to establish close working relationships with the business unit representatives in the US and internationally.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Extensive knowledge and ability to apply specialized area of trade compliance including the EAR and ITAR.

- Evaluating, via interviews and document review, allegations of potential violations of global trade compliance laws and regulations, and allegations of potential violations of internal global trade policies and procedures

- Managing an active caseload, consistent with internal and US Government deadlines, using RTX's matter-management tool

- Working collaboratively with members of the larger GT team and business to identify root causes of regulatory violations and internal policy and procedure violations, and to implement robust corrective actions

- Briefing Collins Aerospace leadership on status of ongoing GT investigations

- Documenting the closure of matters that do not give rise to a reasonable suspicion of regulatory violation

- Lead sites in completing self-assessments and the development of processes to address gaps

- Complete required transactional testing in various functional areas (e.g., AES/Post Entry) and implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and quality

- Assist other export and import GT Professionals on the team as needed

- Other responsibilities as assigned by direct or indirect manager

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR

- Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience OR

- In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required

Preferred Qualifications :

- EAR, ITAR regulation knowledge

- US export compliance knowledge

- Export classifications / authorization experience
