Job Description:
- Contact international traders of various countries and establish relationship and market prices
- Generate new sales leads thru cold leads
- Study and constantly update buyer country market dynamics and import regulations
- Follow Indian domestic market cues and keep up with competitive pricing in international market
- Follow currency market and economic trends to manage with market dynamics
- Must be able to negotiate thru factory importers and trader importers
- Ability to travel overseas and meet buyers face to face and establish relation and make sales
- Strong communication skills and cultural differences in the international market
- Follow up shipments, service clients and perform relationship manager role
- Overall: Identify market opportunities and try to convert them onto sales
- Maintain a schedule of requirements from import clients and offer them as per market conditions.
- Handle customer complaints, defaults and disputes.
- Lead and coach the team of sales executives, enabling them to exceed their targets consistently
- Hold monthly one-on-one meetings with each team member to assist them in overcoming obstacles, identifying problems at work, and providing solutions.
- Track team KPIs/Targets and identify proactive actions that team members can take to improve each month.
- Identify sales revenue trends by client and portfolio. Analyses sales mix by client and portfolio, including product penetration.
- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
- Collect data on buyers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
- Makes market penetration plans and executes with the team
