Opening for Manager-IFRS
Principal Responsibilities :
This roles primarily responsibility will be following :
- Responsible for preparing / reviewing the quarterly FINREP pack
- Understanding and implement changes in IFRS that impact FINREP in AXIOM
- Proactively analyse the FINREP taxonomy changes published by EBA, support implementation of the changes
- Engage with IFRS and risk reporting teams on an ongoing basis and ensure smooth quarterly submission
- Ensuring accuracy of financial numbers and key performance indicators and liaison with Group consolidation team to improve reporting process.
- Build and maintain effective control environment within the BAU process to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Work with Group Financial System (GFS) team, risk and technology to provide functional clarifications relevant to FINREP and AXIOM
- Keep abreast of new developments in IFRS/ FINREP from the EBA, assessing the impact and ensuring timely implementation
Critical Skills Required :
Key Skill Sets Required :
- Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards and practices including FINREP requirements
- Working experience in different financial and accounting systems
- Experience of working in a global financial services organisation in a matrixed environment.
- Good understanding of Banking products and services
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop software (excel, word, access, etc),
- Exposure to working on Change management projects.
Candidate Specification :
Qualified/Semi qualified Accountant : CA, CPA,
- 5 plus years experience in financial reporting with experience in FINREP reporting preferred. Knowledge of AXIOM would be an added advantage
- Strong leadership, relationship building and influencing skills and experience of working with top levels of management.
- Strong collaboration ability to ensure co-ordination between FINREP, Financial Reporting, Risk team and Group Finance Systems.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism, with the intent to do the right thing at all times
- Ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks.
- Excellent managerial skills and ability to support teams to produce quality materials within tight time-frames.
- Strategic thinking and leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management and communication at all levels within an organization.
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and stress and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements.
Security Roles & Responsibilities :
- Updates himself regularly with Company policies on Information
- Security Management System.
- Ensure subordinates are aware of Company policies, in particular those on Information Security.
- Ensure adherence to legal & regulatory requirements as applicable to the nature of work.
- Ensure Process adheres to legal & regulatory requirements as applicable to the nature of work.
- Ensure adherence to the Contractual Requirements of the Process/Function.
- Encourage all subordinates to Report Security Incidents.
- Ensure Compliance and Security Trainings for subordinates are conducted periodically.
- Cooperate with Compliance and Security officers with Security Investigations
- Monitor Compliance adherence and ensure a monthly review of status
- Facilitate Regular Audits to detect any compliance or contractual breaches and encourage continuous improvements.

- Operations and on any major change taking place.
- Review Risk Assessment document and implement mitigation strategies.
