About Our Client:
Our Client is one of the largest insurance brokers globally specializing in Enterprise Risk Management & provide insurance & reinsurance broking to public & private organizations. With a growing presence in India, they are currently looking for an Individual to drive and execute their Internal Communications Strategy. For the same, they are looking to hire Manager - Internal Communications, based in Mumbai.
Job Description:
- Partner with group business leaders to develop, lead and deliver the strategic internal communications plan for India.
- Work closely with the Marketing team globally to ensure internal communications align with overall marketing and communications strategy and objectives.
- Manage distribution of internal communications via multiple channels including email, Connect (intranet), email, events, presentations, social media and direct mail.
- Oversee flow of content across business units and geographies, making connections between activities and ‘directing traffic’ to ensure no gaps or duplication of efforts
- Project manage integrated internal campaigns to support key business initiatives (e.g. health and safety program), working to ensure that all activities are targeted to key audiences and leveraged across multiple channels where appropriate.
- Project manage internal events which may include managing theming, agenda, content, venue, invitations, collaterals, logistics and communications.
- Monitor and update content on the social media platforms and (intranet) homepage.
- Work with Creative Services (the firm’s internal production team) and/or external agencies in preparation of collateral and other marketing materials, as required.
- Work with our external provider, to manage routine copywriting, proofreading and editing of internal communication and maximize efficiency of the internal communication function.
- Ensure that all communication materials adhere to the Group brand guidelines.
The Successful Applicant:
- 8+ years of internal communications experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Successful track record of creating and executing an internal communications strategy and delivering results within internal communications.
- Comprehensive understanding of effective internal communications practices, internal communications measurement, and working with and writing communications for senior management.
- Experience in implementation of a new intranet / internal web site is a plus.
- Social media, engagement, community building experience. Experience in leveraging social media tools as part of internal communications programs.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability of interface with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership team.
- An intuitive understanding and focus on the “story” and content creation. High attention to detail and focus on quality output necessary
- High degree of business acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
