Manager (Internal Audit)

- You are Responsible for business processes, and controls to manage operational risks and elevate business performance. Developing integrated, strategically-aligned operational risk management solutions allow organizations to make optimized business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct internal audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures.

- Identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.

- Review the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information and other disclosures provided to management.

- Discuss audit findings and recommendations with line managers and report significant issues to senior management.

- Prepare / write audit reports in line with the approved audit plan.

- Monitor the timely implementation of the management actions recommended in the audit reports.

- Provide senior management and the Board of Auditors with an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls in the organization.

Qualification And Experience:

i. MBA (Finance) or CA with 2-4 Years of Experience in a related field, preferably in internal audit, consulting, advisory, professional services and/or industry. Certified Internal Auditor equivalent certificate preferred.

ii. Experience related to implementation of variety of research and information gathering strategies, conduct risk assessment, perform and interpret gap analysis and development of risk remediation strategies

iii. Understand the current accounting principles and internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT)

iv. Working knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting. Working knowledge Companies Act 2013.

v. Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance

vi. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications. Prior project management and supervisory skills required.

vii. Strong internal personnel, analytical skills and management skills. Good oral and written communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations

viii. Able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner Able to maintain professional demeanour in times of high stress. Open to travel as per client requirements
