POSITION DESCRIPTION

Role/Position Title - Manager - Intellectual Property (IP)

Location- Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Qualification - MSC Organic Chemistry, Diploma in Patent Law, LLB (Desirable)

Experience - 10 yrs experience in IP to handle API related patent searches, process & polymorph clearances, preparing FTOs, invalidity searches. Experience in supporting US/ EU & IN litigations and ROW markets.

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical):

Hands on using different patent databases, knowledge of API characterization, knowledge of Patent laws of various Countries, tracking legal cases.

Role Overview/ Purpose:

Manger for API -IP.

Job Responsibilities:

- Patent searches and landscaping

- API clearances for Global markets & FTOs

- Invalidity searches & opinions

- Providing strategies for API-IP

- Support in litigations/oppositions for API matters

- Identifying early entry opportunities

Key Relationships/Stakeholders:

- External Vendors, partners, Attorneys

- Internal (other than Direct Reports) BD, Portfolio, Sourcing & R & D
